San Benito, TX – Adan Resendez, 59, passed away to be with the Lord, Monday, July 12, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX.  Mr. Resendez was born May 30, 1962, to Antonio & Dora Resendez in San Benito, TX.  He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Norma Fonseca, Irma Leticia Resendez & Diana Aguirre. Mr. Resendez is survived by his wife, Elma Villa of Mercedes, TX; 2 brothers, Antonio Resendez, Jr., Xavier Resendez both of San Benito, TX; 8 sisters, Pilar Briones, Gracie Marron, Oralia Machuca, Lupita Rodriguez all of Houston, TX, Janie Peña, Eva Resendez both of San Antonio, TX, Betty Garza & Letty Sandoval both of Harlingen, TX. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Angels, with a 6:00 p.m. rosary.  Graveside service will be 9:00 a.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Highland Memorial Park. Celebrant will be Deacon Jose Torres.  Pallbearers will be Andy Aguirre, Jr., Michael Sandoval, Abel Sandoval, R.J. Villa, Mark Rodriguez & Xavier Resendez.
