Weslaco, TX – Antonia Pedraza, 93, passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Weslaco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Pedraza was born June 11, 1929, to Tranquilino & Maria Margarita Juarez in Cadereyta Nuevo Leon Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luis Pedraza; 1 brother, Benito Juarez; 4 sisters, Juana Juarez, Josefina Juarez, Josefa Elizondo, & Amalia Almanza. Mrs. Pedraza is survived by 1 son, Juan Pedraza (Melba) of Weslaco, TX; 1 daughter, Leticia Magee (Mitch) of San Antonio, TX; 1 brother, Roberto Juarez of Weslaco, TX; & 1 sister, Isabel Juarez, of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. rosary, Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Angels. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Juan Luis Pedraza, Jeremiah Pedraza, Rudy Pedraza, Rudy Pedraza, Jr., Amanda Pedraza & Jozlyn Diaz. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave., Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
