Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Gonzalez

Edinburg, TX– Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Gonzalez, 50, passed away to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 5, 2020, at McAllen Medical Center.  Ms. Gonzalez was born on August 28, 1969, to Baldemar & Hortencia Gonzalez in McAllen, TX.  She is preceded in death by her father, Baldemar "Balde" Gonzalez; 1 son, Andrew Rodriguez; 1 brother, Baldemar “Coy” Gonzalez, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Santiago & Antonia C. Rodriguez & paternal grandparents, Abraham & Maria Gonzalez.    Ms. Gonzalez is survived by 3 sons, Christopher Rodriguez, Aaron Arevalo & Adrian Arevalo all of Edinburg, TX; her mother, Hortencia Gonzalez of Edinburg, TX; 1 sister, Yvonne Yvette Gonzalez of Edinburg, TX; 4 nephews, Joey Gonzalez, Mathew Roel, Nicholas Roel, Kevin Roel & 1 niece, Jennifer Gonzalez.  Also surviving is 1 granddaughter, numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020, with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels.  Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg, TX.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, TX.  Pallbearers will be Joey Gonzalez, Mathew Roel, Jorge Lozano, Marco Antonio Lozano, Rolando Lozano & Arnold Reyes.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
