David Diaz

Weslaco, TX – David Diaz, 92, passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Weslaco Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mr. Diaz was born October 22, 1929, to Antonio & Hilaria Diaz, in Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Adela Blanco Diaz; & 1 son, Francisco Cadena. Mr. Diaz is survived by 3 sons, Guadalupe Cadena, of Weslaco, TX, Julian Cadena, Roman Cadena, both of Florida; & 2 daughters, Josefina Cadena, of Weslaco, TX, and Imelda Roman, of Mission, TX. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren & 24 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022, with a 6:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Angels. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Weslaco City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Guadalupe Cadena, Jr., Cesar Cadena, Francisco Cadena, Jr., Jose Luis Villarreal, Jr., John Cisneros, and John David Cisneros.
