Weslaco, TX – Esperanza T. Magaña, 87, passed away to be with the Lord, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Weslaco Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Magaña was born on December 18, 1932 to Lino & Leocadia Tienda in Hualahuises Nuevo Leon Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents & her husband, Rogelio Magaña, Sr. She is survived by 3 sons, Juan Manuel Magaña, Enrique Magaña (Antonia) both of Weslaco, TX, Rogelio Magaña, Jr. (Annie) of South Padre Island, TX; 1 daughter, Lyida De Leon (Joel) of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren. A private visitation and graveside service will be held. Pallbearers will be Michael Anthony Magaña, Michael Anthony Magaña II, Michael Anthony Magaña, Jesse John Magaña, Johnny M. Magaña & Isaias De Leon. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave., Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
