Weslaco, TX – Evangelina G. Garza, 84, passed away to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Garza was born November 25, 1937, to Fidel & Tomacita Garcia in Tamaulipas Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents & husband Isauro Garza.  Mrs. Garza is survived by 4 sons, Isauro Garza, Jr. (Norma) of Katy, TX, Gustavo Garza (Olivia) of Spring, TX, Fernando Garza (Yadira), Zenaido Garza (Maryela) both of Weslaco, TX; 2 daughters, Adriana Elizondo (Enrique) of Katy, TX, Ofelia Wiemann (Thomas) of Wiley, TX & 1 brother, Amando Garcia (Erinea) of Edinburg, TX. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service. Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels. Officiating will be Anthropologist Yorelis Teran. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gustavo Garza II, Carlos Garza, Alejandro Elizondo, Zenaido Garza, Jr., Fernando Daniel Garza & Isaac Garza.
