Guadalupe M. Chapa

Weslaco, TX – Guadalupe M. Chapa, 74, passed away to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Solara Specialty Hospital in Harlingen, TX.  Mrs. Chapa was born November 8, 1947, to Felix & Angelita Chavez, in Weslaco, TX.  She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Sonia Marie Chapa; & 1 brother, Guillermo Chavez.  Mrs. Chapa is survived by her husband, Procopio Chapa, Jr. III, of Weslaco, TX; & 2 daughters, Angelica Rodriguez & Nancy Rhodes, both of Weslaco, TX.  Also surviving are 13 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.   Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021, with a 6:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Angels.  Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Michael Rhodes, Ronnie Torres, Luke Chapa, Homes Rhodes, Zakary Rodriguez, and Jimmy Gonzalez.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
