Weslaco, TX– Guadalupe Gonzalez, 87, passed away to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Knapp Medical Center. Mrs. Gonzalez was born November 27, 1934, to Valente & Reynalda Lozano in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Gonzalez-Robles; 1 son, Israel Gonzalez; 1 son-in-law, Humberto Escamilla; 1 great-granddaughter, Alexyia Escamilla; 5 brothers, Bernardo Lozano, Vidal Lozano, Alvaro Lozano, Juan Lozano, Ruben Lozano; & 3 sisters, Lydia Ramirez, Aurora Lozano, & Rosa Lozano. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by 4 sons, Rogelio Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez, Jr., Roel Gonzalez, Luis Angel Gonzalez, all of Weslaco, TX; & 4 daughters, Aminta G. Escamilla of Pharr, TX, Marta G. Estrada of Rio Grande City, TX, Maria Aurora Gonzalez of Weslaco, TX, & Leticia G. Eaton of Manteca, CA. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren & 33 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandson. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Angels. Funeral service will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Los Pentecostales de Weslaco. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
