Herminia Ruiz

Weslaco, TX – Herminia Ruiz 94, passed away to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 30, 2022, in Richardson TX.  Mrs. Ruiz was born April 25, 1927, to Nabor and Maria Eduvijes Martinez in Abilene, TX.  She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, & 4 sisters.  Mrs. Ruiz is survived by her husband, Raymundo Ruiz, of Weslaco, TX; 5 children, Maria Del Carmen Sereno, Mirthala Villarreal (Juan Javier), both of Weslaco, TX, Raymundo Ruiz, Jr., of Dallas, TX, Roberto Ruiz (Maria Concepcion), of Fort Worth, TX, & Martha Alicia Zapata (Jaime), of Richardson, TX.  Also surviving are 15 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a 6:00 p.m. rosary, Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels.  Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
