Weslaco, TX – Irma V. Guajardo, 59, passed away to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Knapp Medical Center.  Mrs. Guajardo was born January 14, 1963, to Roberto G. & Margarita I. Valdez.  She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Irene V. Martinez & 1 niece, Regina Lynne Valdez. Mrs. Guajardo is survived by her husband, Gonzalo Guajardo, Jr. of Weslaco, TX; 3 sons, Gonzalo Guajardo III (Rebecca) of Madison, WI, Roberto O. Guajardo of Weslaco, TX, George A. Guajardo (Bridgett) of Weslaco, TX; 2 brothers, Ramiro Valdez (Rosie) of Weslaco, TX, Rene Valdez (Karla) of Monte Alto, TX; 2 sisters, Josefina V. Gonzalez (Rogelio) of Weslaco, TX, Diana V. Dueñes (Jacinto, Jr.) of Weslaco, TX; her in laws, Gonzalo, Sr. & Jesusa Guajardo of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are 1 grandson, Joseph Lozano, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Guerra Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of The Angels with a 6:00 p.m. rosary. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022, at St. Theresa of The Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch, TX. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Sergio Alberto Martinez, Mario Noe Martinez, Rene Valdez, Ramiro Valdez, Jr., Joseph Lozano & Gavino Guajardo.
