Mercedes, TX – Jesus Becerra, 78, passed away to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 17, 2022, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX. Mr. Becerra was born May 21, 1943, to Roberto & Maria Luisa Becerra in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Becerra is survived by 5 children, Gudelia Marlatt-Burkett, Salvador Becerra, Marta B. Cisneros (Jesus), Leticia B. Nguyen, Elisa B. Zavala; and 2 sisters, Maria Trinidad Talamantez and Flor Alicia Parral. A private cremation will take place Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave., Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
