Jose Omar Garza

Jose Omar Garza, 71, passed away to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 5, 2021, at his residence.  Mr. Garza was born November 19, 1949, to Jose & Aurelia Garza in Arcabus Tamaulipas Mexico.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Virginia Garza of Weslaco, TX; 1 son, Jose Omar Garza, Jr. (Leslie) of Weslaco, TX; 4 daughters, Adriana Vasquez, Lizette Martinez (Freddie), Mayra Gutierrez (Roger), Daisy Bearden (John) all of Weslaco, TX; 2 brothers, Juan Garza, Javier Garza, both of Weslaco, TX; & 1 sister, Imelda Martinez of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021, with a 6:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Heavens.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Jose Omar Garza, Jr., Javier Garza, Juan Adrian Vasquez, Freddie Martinez, Jr., Trishton Martinez, & Ryan Martinez.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
