Weslaco, TX – Jose S. Rios, 76, passed away to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Rios was born April 19, 1946, to Herlinda Solis in Cadillal Coahuila Mexico. He is preceded in death by his mother & 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Annadelcia Covacevich Rios; 8 children, Jessie Rios, Erlinda Rios, Patricia Rios, Elizabeth Brown, Veronica Rios, Guadalupe Martinez, Jr., Jennifer Castillo (Aaron), Fernando Martinez; 2 brothers, Juan Guzman, Mario Solis; 2 sisters, Maria Lopez & Ana Solis. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Guerra Funeral Home – Chapel of The Angels with a 6:00 p.m. rosary. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Guadalupe Martinez Jr, Fernando Martinez, Aaron Castillo, Adrian Jose Ramirez, Jessie Rios, and Michael Valdez.
