Jose De Jesus "Chuy" Rodriguez Carpio

Weslaco, TX – Jose De Jesus “Chuy” Rodriguez Carpio, 68, passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Mid Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mercedes, TX.  Mr. Rodríguez was born July 2, 1954, to Manuel & Elisa M. Rodríguez in León Guanajuato México.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Ramon Rodriguez Carpio.  Mr. Rodríguez is survived by his wife, Beatriz H. Rodríguez of Weslaco, TX; 1 daughter, Jennifer Sanchez (Cesar) of Weslaco, TX; 2 brothers, José M. Rodríguez Carpio, Víctor Manuel Rodríguez Carpio, both of Weslaco, TX; 4 sisters, María De Lourdes Rodríguez Fuentes, Elisa Rodríguez De Reyes, María Del Rocío Rodríguez Escalante, all of León Guanajuato México, Gema Leticia Rodríguez Mandujano, and Luz Gabriela Rodríguez Mandujano, both of Weslaco, TX.  Also surviving are 3 granddaughters, Rochelle Sanchez, Chloe Sanchez, & Magnolia Sanchez.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels with a 6:00 p.m. rosary. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.  Celebrant will be Rev. Francisco Solis.  Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be José M. Rodríguez, Víctor Manuel Rodríguez, Víctor Manuel Rodríguez, Jr., Cesar Sánchez, Filiberto Mandujano, & Víctor Manuel Rodríguez III.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
