Juan Coronado

Donna, TX – Juan Coronado, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Knapp Medical Center.  Mr. Coronado was born December 27, 1936 in Matehuala Mexico to Amador & Felicitas Coronado.  He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Arturo Coronado & 4 brothers.  Mr. Coronado is survived his wife, Guadalupe Coronado of Donna, TX; 5 sons, Jose Anibal Coronado, Gonzalo Coronado both of Mexico, Raul Coronado of Mercedes, TX, Gustavo Coronado of Alamo, TX, Sergio Coronado of Donna, TX; 6 daughters, Irma Maldonado, Leticia Coronado Alanis, Narcedalia Escalante all of Donna, TX, San Juanita Coronado of Weslaco, TX, Maria Del Rosario De Anda of Florida, Angelica Reyna of Edinburg, TX; 2 brothers, Amador Coronado, Arturo Coronado both of Weslaco, TX; 2 sisters, Amparo Serna of Weslaco, TX, Rosa Coronado of Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico; & 4 half-sisters, Maria Del Socorro Coronado, Francisca Coronado, Alejandra Coronado & Guadalupe Coronado.  Also surviving are 52 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren & 10 great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service.  Graveside service will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at   Highland Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Rev. German Mendez.  Pallbearers will be Sergio Coronado, Raul Coronado, Gustavo Coronado, Sergio Isaias Coronado, Jr., Jaime Coronado & Alex Ramirez.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
