Juanita (Pedraza) Martinez

Weslaco, TX– Juanita Pedraza Martinez, 75, passed away to be with the Lord, Monday, March 9, 2020, at Mid Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mercedes, TX.  Mrs. Martinez was born January 30, 1945 to Manuel & Teresa Pedraza in Hualahuises Nuevo Leon Mexico.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  Mrs. Martinez is survived by 3 brothers, Jose Guadalupe Carreon from Havelock, N.C., Roberto Carreon of Houston, TX, Ramon Carreon of Weslaco, TX; 2 sisters, Celia P. Gonzalez & Dolores P. Rivera both of Weslaco, TX.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020, with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels.  Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be David Gonzalez, Eduardo Aleman, Daniel Gonzalez, Jerry Mata, Bobby Gonzalez & Marcos Aleman.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
