Leonard W. Pier, 87, passed away to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 9, 2023, at John Knox Village. Mr. Pier was born January 31, 1936, to Robert Allan & Anne Pier, in Rapid City, SD. He resided at Victoria Palms RV Park in Donna, TX for over 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Carole Pier; 1 granddaughter, Kali Viker & 1 brother, Gene Pier. Mr. Pier is survived by 1 son, Robert E. Pier of Donna, TX; 1 daughter, Vicki Viker of Wabasha, MN & 1 sister, Pam Pier of New York City, NY. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Patrick, Travis, Sarah & 5 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Pier will be cremated at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave., Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
