Lucia G. Peña

 Lucia G. Peña, 89, passed away to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at her residence.  Mrs. Peña was born on December 15, 1931, to Jose A. & Eulalia Gonzales in New Braunfels, TX.  She is preceded in death by her parents & her husband, Baltazar R. Peña.   She is survived by 3 sons, Jose O. Peña, Oscar Peña both of Weslaco, TX, Homer Peña of McAllen, TX: 1 daughter, Irma O. Hernandez of Weslaco, TX.  Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great granddaughter. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 2, 2021, at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, TX.   Pallbearers will be Jose O. Peña, Oscar Peña, Homer Peña, Carlos Hernandez, Jr., Rolando Peña & Roel Peña.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
