Marcos Montemayor

Marcos Montemayor, 86, a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather & friend. Marcos was born on September 24, 1935, to Marcos and Maria del Carmen Montemayor. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ildefonsa S. Montemayor; 2 sons Juan Jose Montemayor (Maria del Rosario), Javier Montemayor & 1 daughter Maria del Carmen Ochoa (Rodolfo); 5 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those of us left behind. Visitation will be Friday February 4, 2022, from 4:00 p.m.  to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of The Angels. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 5, 2022, at St. Theresa of The Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch, TX. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Omar Montemayor, John Andrew Sandoval, Antonio Montemayor, Jeremiah Jacobson, Joaquin Soto Jr. & Roy Sanchez    Honorary pallbearers will be Amanda Nicole Sandoval & Lorena Isabel Montemayor.
