Weslaco, TX – Mariano Gutierrez, 60, passed away to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center.  Mr. Gutierrez was born September 2, 1960, to Alfonso & Maria De La Luz Gutierrez in McAllen, TX.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Delia Gutierrez, of Weslaco, TX; 1 son, Marco Gutierrez, of Weslaco, TX; 4 brothers, Cesar Gutierrez, Alfonso Gutierrez, both of Mission, TX, Joel Gutierrez of Edinburg, TX, Hector Gutierrez of McAllen, TX; 5 sisters, Maria Elena Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX, Manuela Gutierrez of Brownsville, TX, Catalina Estrada of Perezville, TX, Guadalupe Gutierrez of San Juan, TX, & Marion Gutierrez of Lake Jackson, TX.   Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Heavens with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service.  Graveside service will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Highland Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Rev.
