Weslaco, TX – Natalia Chavez, 81, passed away to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 22, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center.  Mrs. Chavez was born December 1, 1939, to Florentino Garcia & Ramona Zebrain, in Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan F. Chavez; 1 daughter, Refugia Chavez; 3 brothers, Guadalupe Garza, Martin Flores, Ruben Garcia; & 2 sisters, Vivian Garza & Adela O. Rodriguez.  Mrs. Chavez is survived by 3 sons, Juan Francisco Chavez, Jesse Chavez, both of Weslaco, TX, Javier Chavez of Beasley, TX; 4 daughters, Manuela Cervantes of East Bernard, TX, Manuela Chavez, Rosa Maria Chavez, Virginia Monreal, all of Weslaco, TX; 5 brothers, Hilberto Flores, Dimas Garcia, Azael Garcia, Florentino Garcia, David Garcia, all of Mission, TX; & 7 sisters, Diana Flores, Nora Flores, Gemima Garcia, Evita Garcia, Lidia Garcia, Janie Garcia, & Dominga Garcia, all of Mission, TX.  Also surviving are 22 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Angels, with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service.  Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Weslaco City Cemetery.  Officiating will be Rev. Herman Mendez.  Pallbearers will be Juan F. Chavez, Javier Chavez, Jessie Chavez, Jesus A. Monreal, Jr., Jose A. Monreal, & Jessie J.
