Weslaco, TX – Nicolasa Valladares, 96, passed away to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 28, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Valladares was born January 2, 1927, in Garza Valdez Tamaulipas Mexico to Idifonso & Gertrudis Martinez. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roberto Valladares, Sr.; 1 grandson, Charles Valladares; 6 brothers & 3 sisters. Mrs. Valladares is survived by 4 sons, Roberto Valladares, Jr. (Lucy), Jesus Salvador Valladares (Fermina), Victor Hugo Valladares (Abby) all of Weslaco, TX, Adolfo Valladares (Rachel) of McAllen, TX; 4 daughters, Diana Rodriguez (Arturo+), Delia Valladares (Jose+), Maria Berta Valladares & Maria Beatris Burnside (Alec+) all of Weslaco, TX.  Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-granddaughter. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of the Angels, with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels. Officiating will be Rev. Adolfo Valladares. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Arturo Alberto Rodriguez, Gabriel Lopez, Jr., Hugo Vince Valladares, Ramon Vallejo, Edward Perez & Igancio Peralez.
