Weslaco, TX – Petra Ramirez, 86, passed away to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at her residence in Weslaco, TX. Mrs. Ramirez was born September 22, 1935, to Seferino & Lucia Ramirez in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Ramon Garcia; 1 daughter, Lucia Garcia; & 1 brother, Alfonso Ramirez Garcia. Mrs. Ramirez is survived by 1 son, Heriberto Garcia of Weslaco, TX; 1 sister, Olivia Ramirez Garcia of Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico; numerous grandchildren including Cindy Garcia, Heriberto Garcia, Jr., Juan Jose Garcia; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022, at Guerra Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of The Angels. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave., Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
