Ricardo Ruiz, 52, passed away to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 18, 2020 at McAllen Medical Center. Mr. Ruiz was born October 22, 1967 to Maria Francisca Scobey in San Luis Potosi Mexico. He is preceded in death by his mother, and one sister, Lisa Scobey. Mr. Ruiz is survived by his wife, Rachael Ruiz of Weslaco, TX; 1 son, Ricardo Ruiz, Jr., of Alamo, TX; 3 daughters, Cecilia Ann Snow of Le Sueur, MN, Roxanne Ruiz, Maria Francisca Ruiz, both of Weslaco, TX; 2 sisters, Laura Scobey of Weslaco, TX, Anna Luisa Scobey, of Pharr, TX & 1 brother, David Clarence Scobey, of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Park in Donna, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave., Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
