Weslaco, TX – Santiago Villarreal, 58, passed away to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ. Mr. Villarreal was born May 15, 1961, to Eli & Bernarda Villarreal in Weslaco, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents & 1 daughter, Jana Villarreal. Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Diana Villarreal of Weslaco, TX; 1son Leroy Villarreal (Perla) of Edinburg, TX; 1 daughter, Leann Villarreal of Weslaco, TX; 2 brothers, Eli Villarreal, Jr. of Santa Maria, TX, Noe Villarreal of Donna, TX; 5 sisters, Ofelia Izaguirre of Santa Maria, TX, Olga Toscano of San Antonio, TX, Odilia Rodriguez of Arkansas, Otila Medrano of La Feria, TX, Oralia Garcia & Norma Villarreal both of Weslaco, TX. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020, with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2020, at San Pablo Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Ismael De La Tijera. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Leroy Villarreal, George Palacios, Eli Villarreal, Danny Garza, Ruben Gonzalez & Roy Vega. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc.
