Socorro Martinez, 82, passed away to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at McAllen Medical Center. Mrs. Martinez was born May 13, 1937, to Juan & Anastacia Amaro in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents & daughter, Maria Elena Martinez. Mrs. Martinez is survived by 4 daughters, Maria S. Cortez, Lupita Martinez, Ana Margarita Lopez & Manuela Martinez, all of Rio Bravo Tamaulipas Mexico. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at Panteon Municipal in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc.
