Toribio R. Gonzalez

Weslaco, TX – Toribio R. Gonzalez, 92, passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his residence.  Mr. Gonzalez was born April 27, 1928 to Aniceto & Julia Gonzalez in China Nuevo Leon Mexico.  He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Julian Gonzalez; 1 daughter, Mirthala Ruvalcaba; 1 brother, Julian Gonzalez; 3 sisters, Martina Vera, Tomasa Garcia & Lela Lopez.  Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife of 70 years, Maria G. Gonzalez of Weslaco, TX; 2 sons, Mario Gonzalez of China Nuevo Leon Mexico, Jesus Gonzalez of Weslaco, TX; 2 daughters, Guadalupe Ruvalcaba of Ontario, CA & Maria Cardona of Santa Ana, CA.  Also surviving are 12 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2020 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Heavens.  Mr. Gonzalez will be transferred to China Nuevo Leon Mexico where he will be buried.    Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
